When we started going through its contents, we imagined this would be a rather simple and straightforward text book. We were wrong. It turned out to be quite a difficult and demanding task, one that required getting at it endless times. It is written in three different languages, Portuguese, English and Slovenian, and the texts, even though resembling each other, are not the same through the different languages. More complex, they contain similar structures, but again are not the same from one language to the other, counting a high number of text hierarchies. This introduced the laborious task of dealing with a very complex and unpredictable information anatomy.
This is one of the most surprising books we’ve ever designed. Probably not to the author, or even the reader, but to ourselves.
