paul:ndex is the first art book fair in Mexico focused solely on showcasing independent publishers from Latin America and Europe. Through collaborations with celebrated and established fairs, :ndex aims to place a spotlight on contemporary art editorial projects that lack big distribution and open a space for dialogue and exchange within a Mexican context.
:ndex’s exciting program of events include exhibitions, conferences and workshops that provide a unique opportunity for both editors and the wider public to discover, enjoy and discuss the cutting edge of art publishing. Savvy’s branding proposal strives to graphically convey a book’s worth not only for its functional and enlightening nature, but as an art object in and of itself.
All in all, the design takes inspiration from the diversity of styles, colors, formats and materials used in contemporary art publications and uses them to its advantage, fitting in perfectly with its surroundings and blurring the lines between art and design itself.
